Working For 113 Days in a Row

For the Detox, it is required to workout.  The workouts suggested by the Crazy Eight Detox are all low impact.  We are starting a new week today so we will share what we are doing as we are working on the class for the health coaches.

Standing at Work

We work in an office and the lowest impact you can do at work is standing.  Talk to your boss if you don't have a standing desk and explain that you have to stand for eight weeks.  Standing burns more than 100 calories while sitting burns less than fifty.  

If you are standing at work for four to eight hours you are burning 400 to 800 calories.  The goal of the detox is to get rid of fat and burning fat is one of our goals during a Crazy Eight Detox.

Walking at Work

If you are not able to get a standing desk at work or stand at a counter,  you can arrange with your boss to take a fifteen minute break to go on a walk while your co-oworkers are taking a smoking break.   In the UK, smokers take several breaks a day and stay away from their desks up to twenty minutes at a time.   

An hour walk burns one hundred to two hundred calories and provides a bit of cardivascular exercise. [Works your heart]

Low Calories

Keep your calorie count low this week.  Classic salad diet.  We are keeping our calories under 1000 to focus on fat burning.  If you clinically obese talk to your doctor first.  If you are severely underweight, talk to your doctor before going under 1000 calories.  The crazy detox detox focuses on white adipose fat not brown fat.  There is an 800 calorie NHS diet if you want to go look at it for recipe suggestions.

Low Budget

If you want to be ready for a winter holiday, don't spend more than three dollars/pounds/euros a day on food and save ten for your holiday.  The average British person spends 12 pounds a day on food.  Buy your food each day.  

Buying for the week does not work for most people.  I buy my breakfast for three days but lunch has been everyday.  If you go over three pounds don't worry, your vacation money is just a bit less than everyone else.
