Low Intensity Calorie Burn - Week 2 - Monday - Consistentcy
Today, Health Storey increased the low intensity exercise at the gym by a small amount and kept the overall cardio in the lower range of intensity but increased the time.
This is the beginning of week 2 of the detox and if you are a beginner detoxer, you need to think about adding another hour of standing to your day. (The goal by the end of the detox is to be standing for eight hours a day to burn 800 calories.)
As an advanced detoxer, Health Storey walked to the gym, accomplished a cardio routine and then walked back to the office. Her total cardio for today was between two to three hours. On the days that she does not go to the gym, she takes a walk and focuses on standing for four hours with the ideal being eight hours to have an extended calorie burn.
For the crazy eight detox, low intensity cardio helps to burn adipose fat and keep your body's metabolism higher.
The research states:
Have fun adding low intensity cardio to your day. Remember, if you hate going to the gym focus on low cardio walking or cleaning your house. Health Storey encourages you to go to a gym so that you can set up a regular detox routine with fitness professionals available if you want some advice.
